英語的無盡樂趣---英語交流

當你愛上一件東西時，你是可以找出無盡的喜好之情的。就像你愛上了一個女子，楚楚動人，清秀明麗；就像你對自己的子女之情，舐犢情深；就像你對父母之恩，情不自禁。


在此，我要將在英語中遇到的值得玩味的東西，和你分享。

我曾接觸過一些英語詞語，後來做統計時才發現，原來都是有關動物的英語，很有趣。

she is an eager beaver. (to be an eager beaver in your work, but not in your life)

it's going to rain. (我還記得：it looks like rain)

he is about to speak (be about to do something)

give a party (完全不同于中文習慣)

hold a party（sounds more like it）

fishy

there is something fishy about my girlfriend (沒有人知道爲什麽fish+y就成了somehing suspicious)

neighbours at dinner (this is useful)

are you a night owl？

i am not a night owl. i go to sleep at 12:30 (I believe 90% of HK people are night owls)

i am a real man. (I think so)

a real cure (we all need a real cure to the problems we face)
